Past experience suggests that most customers seek regular and honest communication throughout the buying or selling process – and because this appears to be a major reason clients appoint me to act on their behalf, I always pay the highest attention in feeding back to both vendors and prospective buyers.
Marketing and campaign management is also a key priority for me. In most sale or purchase situations, the highlighting of the strongest selling points, the creation of competition for the property, and accurate targeting of buyers usually equates to a successful outcome.
At the beginning of any sales process, I’ll sit down with the seller to gain an understanding of how they see the sale unfolding. I’ll offer ideas and options, and together we’ll mark-out what approach we’ll take, together with any necessary key timings.
Another big emphasis in my approach is ‘quality in everything I do’, and this includes quality people-management. Because different people have different needs, and because we all have various triggers, it’s important any agent understands when to be patient and when to act with more urgency. At times advice is needed, other times it’s important to allow vendors and buyers the room they need to consider all options.
So a big part of my job is to present those options at the right time! And I’ll do this objectively, calmly, and efficiently.

In terms of my personal background, I’m originally from Rotterdam in the Netherlands. In my spare time I work on a drystock/equine farm with my partner in the Te Akau district (breeding and selling sport horses), and love riding the horses over the farm.
